Round 3 of the Queensland Government's $5,000 Business Basics Grant opens on 16th May for Regional QLD and 17th May for South-East QLD. 

Round 3 will close when sufficient applications have been received (and they fill up fast!) so we’d recommend you start preparing now.

Our services that the $5k Business Basics Grant can go towards:

Website build or upgrade

• New website build
• Website refresh - enhance your website now with a new look or conversion-focused pages)
• Add e-commerce functionality

Strategic digital marketing services

• Strategic marketing plans including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to increase traffic to your website.
• Website content strategy (eg. Blog strategy for 12 months and/or implementation of new site content)

How to apply

You need to complete the online application in SmartyGrants. We’d strongly suggest you already apply for a SmartyGrants applicant account >> if you don't already have one.

Your application must include the following documents:

• A certified statutory declaration from the business owner or director (Here is the statutory dec. template >>) stating the business:
  • does not have a turnover exceeding $300,000 per annum
  • meets all grant eligibility criteria
  We strongly recommend getting a statutory declaration already sorted so as soon as the grant opens, you’re ready to submit.
• A proposal detailing the activities you will purchase (We can get this sorted for you).
• Supplier quote detailing who will undertake the project work, description of services, and outline key activities (We have a few options ready to go).
