The Background
Goodwood Produce began as a small home-based business, selling locally-made honey from their doorstep in Woodgate, Bundaberg. They pride themselves on producing honey using zero heat, to ensure the quality of their honey is never compromised. Until 2022, their ability to sell products was limited to in-person sales and manually creating sales for people further out who knew of their range.
In 2022, they partnered with us to create a custom website showcasing their honey products and educational resources. Fast forward to 2024, their growing range - including high-quality honey, skincare, and soap - needed an upgraded solution with e-commerce functionality to meet increasing customer demand locally and Australia-wide.
The Solution
We built their original website on a robust CMS, preparing for future growth. Later on, we were able to seamlessly add Shopify store functionality directly to their existing site. This integration made online shopping effortless for their customers and saved time and resources by avoiding a complete website rebuild on an e-commerce platform.
